CSK vs PBKS : Rishi Dhawan was seen wearing face protection shield while bowling, during the match against chennai super kings in IPL 2022. Rishi dhawan suffered a nose injury after being hit on the face during the ranji trophy season and had to go undergo surgery. To protect it from any further risk of damage, he is wearing a protective face mask. This was his first IPL match since 2016. He had to miss the first few matches of IPL 2022 as he was recovering from the surgery.
