In 1992 He launched a film" Kadalmuthu "with Mohanlal as hero, but it did not go to the sets. In 1993 he produced and directed the film Bandhukkal Sathrukkal. Jayaram and Mukesh were in the main lead. .Roopini and Rohini were the heroines. Thilakan and Narendraprasad came in important roles as two fighting brothers. Jagathy Sreekumar's Saakshi was an outstanding character. In this film Sreekumaran Thampi tuned his own lyrics and all the six songs became outstanding hits. Sri.Thampi received GOLD DISC for his music direction. All the songs were sung by Yesudas. One song was repeated in Chithra's voice.
