The loss of Timo Werner does reduce their direct threat in behind so you can afford to be braver and press them out of the back in a 3-1-3-3 to disrupt their play and force them to go long. Then when you’ve got control you need to play wide to stretch Leipzig horizontally, opening up lanes for dangerous underlaps. And by playing a ball carrier in central midfield, you can draw pressure which can further facilitate those underlaps.
