But the question is who should Solskjaer’s Man United priorities in the market? If the club could land only one player. This season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has set Man Utd up in a 4-2-3-1 and whilst the attacking unit is arguably the strongest in the squad, there is still room for improvement on the right wing and up front, exactly where Haaland and Sancho operate from. ► CHECK US OUT ON TWITCH: http://bit.ly/SMDTwitch Despite a slow start to the season Jadon Sancho’s game has massively improved. He’s always been in between being a bit of a winger and a bit of a playmaker but now he’s fully become a unique creator. I’d describe him as a dribbling playmaker. Wherever he is on the pitch his thought is to playmake. Either through dribbles and picking out teammates with crosses like we’ve seen him do for a while now. I think what’s most noticeable about Sancho this season is his control of the football. He’s always been a great dribbler but now he seems to glide across the pitch with the ball at his feet and you can see his increasing confidence with his dribble numbers. He’s making 5.8 dribbles per game this season, with only Neymar and Messi making more across Europe’s Top five Leagues. ► JOIN PATREON: https://bit.ly/StatmanPatreon Now moving onto the Norwegian international, Erling Haaland is a complete forward. At Salzburg he showed glimpses of how complete he can be but he’s stepped up his development at Dortmund. We already know that Haaland is a proper goalscorer. In and around the box or when on the counter attack he’s always looking to make runs off the shoulder and in behind the defence. He’s not a technically graceful player but he is incredibly determined and when you combine that with his size, strength and speed you get a striker that’s almost impossible to stop.
