SteVin89's video: The Mist Music Video Danse Macabre BLACK WHITE

@The Mist Music Video (Danse Macabre) BLACK & WHITE
This is the black and white version of the music video for the 2007 horror film 'The Mist'. It was based on a short story by Stephen King from 1980. Director Frank Darabont was the man who previously made King's works 'The Shawshank Redemption' and 'The Green Mile' into classic films. The story is set in Maine where a heavy thunderstorm has done damage to many homes. Among those homes is David Drayton's (Thomas Jane). When he takes his boy (Nathan Gamble) to the local supermarket the town becomes enveloped in a thick mist. A few people venture into it only to be attacked by something horrifying. Now the people in the supermarket will have to fight to survive. And David will have to ward off, not only the creatures in the mist, but also his fellow man. The music I used for this music video is 'Danse Macabre' composed by Saint-Saƫns in 1874. Based on a French poem about death. This music video has been done in two version. The first one was the colour version and this black and white version. Darabont originally intended the film to be in black and white. You can see him discussing this point here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-64pR2ARecY 'The Mist' belongs to Dimension Films and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
