I'm making a big change of plans and re-focusing my efforts to try and deliver a game QUICKLY. Ideally I'd like to make my games without having to think about short-term monetary gains; I'm all about the long game. BUT, I think this new ambitious focus/goal has a number of benefits aside from financial gain, so I feel like it's the right way to go.
