Gently unroll your stencil onto a flat surface and make sure your details are all lying flat. Be advised that in windy conditions you will need an additional person to help lay out your stencil then use rocks to help weigh down the stencil as you paint. Next, put a can of Krylon Marking Chalk in the Krylon Inverted Marking Wand to stencil with. Get a box with the bottom cut out to use as a spray box. This spray box will help keep the chalk from getting outside of the stencil design. Spray your Krylon Marking Chalk through the stencil design in broad sweeping strokes and spirals so that the spray overlaps. This will give you full coverage. Once you have completed the section in your spray box, move the box to the next section of your stencil. Repeat the previous steps until you have full coverage on your stencil. Lift the box, then lift the stencil straight up so that it does not smudge any of the chalk paint below. The chalk paint should be dry to the touch after a few minutes of drying.
