Qutub Minar / Kutub Minar complex is one of the must-visit places around Delhi. This complex has many historically significant monuments such as Qutub Minar tower, Alai Darwaza, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Iron Pillar, Tomb of Iltutmish, Alauddin Khilji tomb and madrasa. With the height of 73 m tall, Qutab Minar is one among the 38 Unesco World Heritage sites in India. The first Muslim ruler of Delhi Qutab-ud-din Aibak commenced the construction during 1193 Firoz Shah Tughlak completed the minar by 1368 Qutab Minar is 14.3 m diameter at the base and just 2.7 m at the top. The first 3 stories are made of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth stories are of marble and sandstone. "Iron Pillar of Delhi" is famous for its rust-resistant feature which has survived for more than 1600 years.
