Steps Together's video: Gommatagiri - A peaceful getaway from Mysore

Gommatagiri is a Jain pilgrimage center located near Mysuru. A shrine dedicated to Gommateshwara present here on a hillock named 'Shravana Gudda'. Bahubali statue inside the shrine resembles the one at Shravanabelagola. This statue is 20 ft in height and is believed to be 700 years old. A small balcony at the backside of the temple offers a spectacular aerial view of the surroundings. The annual "Maha Mastakabhisheka" held during September draws a large number of Jain devotes to this place.
