Steve Storey's video: Roberts Creek OG Trails - More Fun When Ridden Blind

@Roberts Creek OG Trails - More Fun When Ridden Blind!
I don't get to ride skinnies very often. My home trails in the sea to sky corridor of BC don't really have many on offer. I used to love them so anytime I come across them I'm keen to see if my skinny riding skills are still there. A couple of trails in the Roberts Creek area of the Sunshine Coast that are ripe with them are Seven Up and Ours. Instead of opting for a perfect top to bottom run I decided to film my first attempts at both....totally blind. I had never seen any of these features beforehand and the anxiety was real! hahaha Definitely a few scary moments wondering if sections were gaps, drops, or rolls. The most nerve-wracking moments were caused by the current state of some of the wood work and not knowing if there was a proper landing on the other side of some of the gaps. Some stunts had to be avoided and some were missed due to just not knowing where the trail was going. Did my best to hit everything I could along the way though! I had a great time capturing my ride in a slightly different way than usual. Had no idea it would feel as exciting as it did. Got the heart rate going way more than I do riding gnarly steeps or big gaps. Hope you enjoy it!
