Not all treasure hunting takes place underground in dark, dusty and dank holes in the ground. I’m switching gears a little to show you a different side of some of the places that we search. Sometimes they can be downright tranquil… I can’t talk too much about this treasure myth, as it is still an ongoing search, but I can tell you that there was Spanish Gold found in this particular creak/area, and we are planning to dredge and do some metal detecting to see if we can substantiate it (and of course find more;-). No way in to this particular spot on the creek without an ATV to the top of the cliff and then ropes down about 250 feet to the creek itself. Not a popular swimming hole, that's for SURE!
