My cousin Joe is the reason I ever picked up a guitar let alone found my love for music. He was a talented musician who taught me everything I know. I remember during holidays or vacation, he would come over to my house and we would jam out to Brand New and Fall Out Boy in the basement with Joe playing the electric guitar while I was on the drums. We drove my parents crazy. But we loved every second of it. This was our absolute favorite song to play. He's gone now, but every song I sing carries on a little bit of his legacy.
