July 18, 2018 15 mile hike in Briones Regional Park, starting at the Lafayette Ridge Trail and finishing and Alhambra Valley Rd bus stop . Temp at about 80+ degrees with no wind, no clouds, no fog. Not so terribly steep inclines... The actual distance from the entry to Briones on Elizabeth Rd, and the end on Alhambra Rd. is only about 13 miles; the walk from Lafayette BART (one mile) and to the Bus stop (two miles) adds to the distance actually hiked.
