A lot of people know about the sad history of Cairo, Illinois. For years now, it has been described as a run-down ghost town. However, there are some people who are trying to change that. Slowly, a lot of the broken-down buildings are being removed. Some of the much older buildings are in the process of trying to be saved and restored. Emphasis is being placed on the amazing public library building, Magnolia Manor, the Custom House, and other beautiful buildings that need to be seen…
