@King Biscuit Time - The First Blues Radio Show - Helena Arkansas
The first broadcast of King Biscuit Time came on November 21, 1941. The radio station was KFFA in Helena, Arkansas. Since that date, King Biscuit Time has been playing the blues every week day. In 1990, King Biscuit Time began broadcasting at the Delta Cultural Center. Everyone is welcome to come visit, and listen in as the show airs live. Occasionally, live bands and musicians will sit in an play live on the radio. King Biscuit Time is a piece of blues (and music!) history!
