Guitar players love learning about their favorite guitar players, and the unique way they personalize their guitars. One guy who often gets forgotten in discussion is Big Joe Williams and his cool 9 string guitar. He began to add strings to his regular guitars at some point in the 1920's-1930'2. The pictures appear to show him playing a custom made 8 string...but at some point, he added another and made it 9.
