@Ten Interesting Facts About Peetie Wheatstraw - One of the best-selling Blues artists of the 1930s.
I've recently been looking into the life and music of blues legend, Peetie Wheatstraw. My first thought is is always amazement at how little information there is about him. He seemed to be immensely popular during the 1930's, and his music influenced a lot of blues musicians, including Robert Johnson. His recording career spanned from 1930-1941. Last night, I wrote out a good number of facts I've learned about the "Devil's Son-in-Law." Here are ten of them. Please let me know what you think! Don't forget to subscribe! Thanks for watching!
