Still Riding Studios's video: Riding to Elizabethtown KY Part 1 Riding the Suzuki DL650 VStrom XT with Sena cam on Arai helmet

@Riding to Elizabethtown KY Part 1. Riding the Suzuki DL650 VStrom XT with Sena cam on Arai helmet.
This is Part 1 of my ride to Elizabethtown KY with my HS friend LE Williams. We did this trip in May of 2019 - the good old days pre-COVID. There are six video in the series. This route takes you north through Wilson Co, Trousdale Co and Macon Co to Tompkinsville KY then north to Elizabethtown KY. Coming up next - Ride To Elizabethtown KY Part 2. Thanks for watching! My YouTube channel offers original motorcycling video content with royalty free background music, sometimes commentary, always maps, how two get there, what to expect when looking for new roads to ride motorcycles in middle Tennessee. I've just been granted access to Google Earth Studio and will be incorporating images in addition to my usual maps. I am now down to one motorcycle - a 2018 Suzuki DL650 Vstrom XT! I was impressed by the bike’s reviews in the TheMissidenFlyer, Nora and the Suzuki Vstrom 650XT India videos. So I sold both the 2005 Suzuki 650 VStrom and my yellow Honda VFR800 Interceptor to pay for it. After riding both over the past year I realized that the VStrom fit my body and riding style better now that I’m a little older. I use three Sena Prism video cameras when I ride the Suzuki VStrom 650. I chose the Sena Prism because the blue tooth connectivity to my Sena helmet intercom works fantastic. I can narrate on the go effortlessly. I've discovered that that the windscreen, engine guard mounts and side luggage cases on the VStrom are the most stable places to mount cameras with the least amount of vibration. Of course body mounting seems to be the best in most cases. I was running Michelin Road Pilot 4s on the VFR and Metzler Tourance Next on the 2005 Suzuki DL650 vstrom - I loved those tires! Both are great tires for touring on pavement. The new Suzuki was equipped with Bridgestones and I'm now close to 11,000 miles and seeing the tread wear line. So I've ordered the new Michelin Road Pilot 5's. Stay tuned for how these work out. My head gear is an Arai Vector II Kevin Schwantz with two camera mounts on it. I typically gear up with BMW Rallye Jacket in Sumer and fall or Gerbing heated jacket and pants in the winter. During the summer, I usually wear my BILT mesh suit with HeatOut base layer. I've become a big fan of base layers in both winter and summer. My foot wear is First Gear hybrid perforated riding boots in summer and First Gear full leather non-perforated boots in winter.
