Stone Island AW '019'020_ Garment Dyed Leather Exostrike Boot with Dyneema® http://www.stoneisland.com This boot represents the optimal fusion of STONE ISLAND's expertise in garment dyeing techniques with ECCO®'s state-of-the-art leather tanning and shoe making technology. The leather of the upper is laminated with a light non-woven fabric in Dyneema®, the strongest and most durable lightweight fibre in the world, producing unusually high tensile strength. The upper is completed with a high tenacity nylon canvas. The upper and the sole are laid above and under an anatomically profiled midsole template. Then, using ECCO'S unique Fluidform® technology, Phorene®, a shock absorbing polyurethane liquid is injected into the template. This liquid, when dry, fuses the leather upper and sole together, creating an integral bond between the upper, the midsole and the sole.
