Stop Motion Works's video: A Fan Tribute: ID Monster in Stop Motion

@A Fan Tribute: 'ID Monster' in Stop Motion
I did not create this. This was done by Dan Anderson, as a Fan 'homage' to the 1956 classic Sci-Fi movie 'Forbidden Planet'. The ID Alien was an invisible entity in the movie and when the creature made its appearance it was originally done as 2D/Cel animation by the Disney Studios. Dan Anderson, a creative artist, illustrator, designer, director, and animator, said to himself ...."What would it be like if the 'ID Creature' was portrayed using Stop Motion special effects in the Harryhausen-esque tradition?" So Dan decided to do a homage to the original 'Forbidden Planet' by using original footage and then creatively compositing a Stop Motion creature into a scene from the movie. This is the result of his artistic & technical skills. He did this around 2005 before there was a YouTube.
