Among the food crops grown in Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality, Millet is the third largest food crop after Maize and Rice in terms of area and production. From Ward No. 1 to 8 Millet is cultivated that covers an area of 250 hectares. It seems that more millet is being cultivated in 1, 2, 4 and 7 ward. Workshop on tracking, branding, packaging and marketing was conducted in collaboration with Makwanpurgadhi Rural Municipality Village Executive Office Makranchuli, and farmers groups from Apanga Tatha Bipanna Agriculture Cooperative Ltd
