Jahangir Tareen Life Story ll how he became so rich ? ll Story Facts Jahangir Khan Tareen (Urdu: جہانگیر خان ترین) is a Pakistani businessman and politician who is the majority shareholder and CEO of JDW Group, a conglomerate specialized in sugar manufacturing, biomass (bagasse) cogeneration, paper manufacturing, sugarcane farming, and aviation services. Jahangir Tareen is also the chairman and owner of JK Group,a conglomerate specialized in sugar manufacturing, milk production and processing, and sugarcane farming Tareen was born on 4 July 1950 in Comilla, East Pakistan now Bangladesh. Tareen family derives from South Punjab near Multan.He graduated from Forman Christian College, Lahore in 1971and received an MBA degree from the University of North Carolina, USA, in 1974 In 2016, PML-N filed a reference to disqualify Tareen from his National Assembly seat for "submitting false statements with the Election Commission of Pakistan".[30] In 2017, ECP rejected disqualification references against Tareen Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP; Urdu: استحکامِ پاکستان پارٹی , lit. 'Pakistan Stability Party') is a political party in Pakistan that was officially founded by Jahangir Tareen on 8 June 2023. It has yet to be registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
