Here are our predictions for the coming episodes of Game of Thrones. One of the wildest fan theories is that Tywin Lannister ends up sitting on the Iron Throne. Now while this might sound completely far-fetched, it isn’t that impossible when you examine the backstory. One possible explanation for this ending is that Tyrion might secretly be a Targaryen and not a Lannister. It is common knowledge that the mad king Aerys II desired Tyrion’s beautiful mother Joanna Lannister and might even have had an affair with her. The child of that affair would naturally be Tyrion. So, he might ascend the throne. Many fan theories speculate that just as Jaime and Cersei came into this world together, they will also leave it together. Jaime has now crossed over to the good side and has sworn to protect his erstwhile foe Winterfell. This has made fans speculate that in one of the final episodes Jaime will be the one to stop Cersei by killing her but he too will lose his life in the process. Some fans even theorize that he might put himself in harm’s way for the newly knighted Ser Brienne. Yet many others feel that Brienne is the one who might lay down her life for him. This will truly be a tragic story line. A popular but not very pleasant prediction holds that Daenerys might go the unfortunate way of most Targaryen and turn mad. While this end is not desirable it is not entirely impossible. As we have noticed throughout the series, Daenerys is as capable of being merciful as she is of being cruel. She has been known to lift the lowly and strike down the insolent with equal power. We cannot forget that sitting on the Iron Throne has been her sole objective from season 1 as she desires vengeance for how her family was brought down. And, we cannot deny the possibility that she might have inherited a few crazy genes from her father the mad king Aerys II. Perhaps Jorah’s death in the great battle at Winterfell might send Dany off the edge. Or perhaps her newfound fear that Jon Snow wants to usurp the throne form her. Maybe the final loss of Viscerion as the night king falls might pull the mother of Dragons in deep mourning and thereby cause her to lose her sanity. Whatever the case may be, we need to wait and watch. Finally, Jon ascending to the Iron Throne seems almost unrealistic. His whole life, Jon has seemed to be the perfect martyr: sacrificing his life for others. No doubt he will ride a dragon one last time and surely battle the Night King but Jon Snow's chances of survival seem bleak. Most fans speculate that he will die but not before making Dany a mother.
