StoryofAmerica's video: The Biased Filter: Money in Politics Net Neutrality Voter Suppression

@The Biased Filter: Money in Politics, Net Neutrality, Voter Suppression
With stirring clarity, Prof. Lawrence Lessig connects the dots between the fight for net neutrality, the struggle for voting rights in the Jim Crow South, the unfairness of oppressive regimes, such as China's relationship with Hong Kong, and the unfairness of American political corruption caused by the influence of wealthy donors, both corporate and individual. Lessig's 20 minute speech, a tribute to open Internet crusader Aaron Schwartz, took place in the US Capitol building at a special event screening of the new film "Killswitch: The Battle to Control the Internet," which was hosted by Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fl). It was also a call to action for all Americans who understand the centrality of freedom in America: freedom to use the Internet, freedom to exercise the ballot, and freedom to practice self-governance.
