Study UK's video: Stephanie Case: Social Impact Alumni Award Global Finalist 2019

University of Essex and Chevening Awards alumna Stephanie Case is making a positive difference to communities in Afghanistan, Iraq, South Sudan and the DRC. As Founder, President and Board Member of Free To Run, Stephanie’s work has helped hundreds of women and girls, supporting them to build their confidence and leadership skills, and reclaim space in their communities. She is also Head of Protection of Civilians and Child Protection for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan. Stephanie’s main influencers include former peacekeeper, doctor and filmmaker Dr Saleyha Ahsan, Director of the Afghanistan Women’s Football team Khalida Popal, and ultra-runner Courtney Dauwalter.
