Susan Nesbitt's brother Richard G. Shaffer was lost at sea in May 1968, with 98 fellow sailors, aboard the submarine USS Scorpion. Mrs. Nesbitt shares memories of Richard and relates what she knows about the Scorpion's last voyage. She also shares thoughts about the impact of Richard's loss, and the lingering questions about it, on her family.
