Once the fastest diesel hauled train of Indian Railways turns 8 years now. 12041/42 New Jalpaiguri -- Howrah -- New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express gets 8 years old, with the roaring EMD memories still very much fresh in our memories. Once used to run at 130 kmph on a daily basis from Howrah - NJP, this was the only diesel train in Indian Railways network to run with Siliguri Jn. (SGUJ) WDP 4 at such speed thus making it the fastest connectivity between Howrah & NJP. But then the electrification upto New Jalpaiguri being completed last year, this Shatabdi Exp regular Locomotive link was upgraded to WAP7 of HWH ELS. Thus shattering the badges of being the only diesel hauled train to run at 130 kmph !! Watch this realistic video till the end to enjoy this realistic gameplay.
