I baked a cake in a waffle maker!🎂🧇 I was experimenting with my Pikachu waffle maker from @uncannybrands ( ) and a box of Funfetti cake mix, and was SO delighted with the result. What’s even better is that I didn’t have to do any decorating because Pikachu’s cute face was already there!😍 I’m having the best time experimenting with my new waffle makers – thank you @uncannybrands for sending them to me. Here are some tips for making your own Cake Mix Waffles: 🧇 Spray the waffle maker with non-stick cooking spray. 🧇Don’t overfill! Spread an even layer of batter in the bottom pan. 🧇Make sure it’s cooked all the way through. I checked mine after 2 minutes, and then closed the lid and cooked a little more. 🧇One cake mix makes about 4 ½ waffles. 🧇These are a little harder to get out of the pan because they are soft. Slide a heat proof spatula under it to get it out. 🧇I tried it with many different fillings and toppings and I like it best with a simple sugar glaze. Sugar Glaze Recipe 1 cup confectioner’s sugar 2 tablespoons milk ½ teaspoon vanilla Whisk ingredients together until smooth. Adjust to your desired consistency by adding more milk or confectioner’s sugar. Drizzle over the waffles. Enjoy!
