Sumanth Udupi's video: Diesel Trains Crossing Flooded River on Konkan Railway

Record-breaking rains have hit parts of the South India including Coastal Karnataka as well as parts of North Interior Karnataka during the month of September this year. Many trains are running late due to a heavy rainfall during that time. So, I (along with other Railfans from Udupi) decided to do trainspotting and photograph these late running the trains near Barkur. We went to Sita river near Barkur, which was flooded due to heavy downpour(which can be seen in this video). Location: Sita River, Barkur, Konkan Railway. Following are the trains captured amidst heavy rain on that day. [1] 19260 Bhavnagar Kochuveli Express hauled by ALCO WDM3A 16815R from Ratlam DLS (RTM). The train has become important link and emotional chord for natives of Dakshina Kannada, Karwar and Udupi districts living in Mumbai and surrounding cities. Matsyagandha Express has 24 coaches that contains 1 2nd AC coaches, 3 3rd AC coaches, 12 Sleeper Class coaches. More about this train: The 16311/12 Shri Ganganagar – Kochuveli - Shri Ganganagar Express is an express train belonging to Indian Railways Southern Zone that runs between Shri Ganganagar Junction and Kochuveli in India, serving the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka & Kerala. This train has 23 coaches that contains 2 2nd AC coaches, 3 3rd AC coaches, 11 Sleeper Class coaches and runs from Shri Ganganagar Junction via Bikaner Junction, Jodhpur Junction, Ahmedabad Junction, Vasai Road, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon Junction, Mangalore Junction, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam to Kochuveli.
