Sumanth Udupi's video: Single Line Crossing How it Works Trains Arrival and Departure at Udupi

@Single Line Crossing || How it Works || Trains Arrival and Departure at Udupi
This is an informative video demonstrating single line crossing of two trains and how it happens. In a single line crossing, when 2 trains approaching from either directions, one train must halt (usually at the loopline, sometimes on the mainline) make way for the other train to pass. Since Konkan railway is a single line section, this kind of crossing is very common here. Two diesel trains crossing eachother in this video are MAQ bound 12619/Matsyagandha Express and NZM dound 12283/Duronto Express. You can see that, Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin bound Duronto Express patiently waiting at PF for Matsyagandha Express to arrive on PF . In this video, 12283 ERS - NZM duronto express enters PF and patiently waits for Matsyagandha Express to arrive. Few minutes later, 12619 Matsyagandha Express arrives Udupi and enters PF . Finally, 12283 gets clearance to proceed and it enters the mainline to continue its further journey. 12619/Matsyagandha Express was hauled by GOC based WDP4D diesel locomotive and 12283/Duronto Express was hauled by ERS based WDM3A diesel engine. Hope you liked this video. Location: Udupi railway station.
