Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has appointed a new cabinet in which Julius Ruto is a major winner as the new CEC finance . Mr Joseph Kurgat is the CEC Education ,Culture ,Youth Affairs ,Sports and Social Services also a new entrant to cabinet . Eng Gideon Birir has retained his potfolio of CEC Roads ,Transports ,Energy and public works . Shadrack Sambai is a major loser after being dropped from plumb finance potfolio . CEC Enock Muigei is another looser after being dropped from Education potfolio. The governor forwarded the names to the assembly today and were communicated to members by Deputy speaker Hosea Korir . The governor promised to forward the remaining seven names in stipulated time by law . The assembly today approved members of vetting commitiee . Uasin Gishu county assembly members of the committee were urged to discharge their work deligently by Chief Whip David Singoei while seconding the motion approving the vetting commitee to be chaired by Hon Speaker David Kiplagat.
