Uasin Gishu county assembly today adjourned its morning sitting in order to receive briefing from department of livestock development from the executive over the outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the county that is killing cows . The motion was moved by Kaptagat MCA Jonathan Ngetich who lamented that villagers are now using Changaa to treat the disease by giving cows to drink . He was seconded by Hon Samora Machel who said the farmers are incuring heavy loses . Temporary speaker Amos Kipatanui invoked standingorder number 28 saying the disease outbreak is of public intrest and it touches every member in the assembly .
