Sunil Avachat's video: Vande Mataram on longest Indian bamboo Flute

@Vande Mataram on longest Indian bamboo Flute
About the Song "Vande Mataram" is a Sanskrit poem written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1870s. The poem was first sung by Rabindranath Tagore in 1896. The first two verses of the song were adopted as the National Song of India in October 1937 by the Congress Working Committee. On 24 January, 1950, the Constituent Assembly of India has adopted "Vande Mataram" as national song. On the occasion, the first President of India, Rajendra Prasad stated that the song should be honoured equally with the national anthem of India, "Jana Gana Mana". About the Flute The bass flute played in this video is perhaps the longest Indian bamboo flute on which full melody with rhythm can be performed. It's an humble attempt to perform the patriotic song on bass flute.
