And wouldn't you know it, part of rewatching Yu-Gi-Oh GX again lately for the Zane Truesdale video I recently did also meant being reminded of the absolute scumbag that is Adrian Gecko (aka Amon Garam in the original Japanese version), so hey, why not just do a deep-dive on an absolute grade-A jerk today? Voiced in the English Dub by Darren Dunstan, and by Nobuya Mine in the original Japanese, Adrian Gecko joined the cast of Yu-Gi-Oh GX in Season 3, along with several other new transfer students (Jesse Anderson, Axel Brodie, and Jim "Crocodile" Cook), but unlike the others, Adrian was ultimately only out for himself, and wasn't shy about using others for his own gain with little regard for their well-being. And I thought it'd be interesting to take a look at how, in the pursuit of those selfish desires, he ultimately brought about his own demise.
