The song "Ilog Pasig, Laban" composed by Suzanne Q. Samson, is the first prize winner of the Philpop Mini Bootcamp TampisAwit Edition Songwriting Contest for the Taga-Alog 2019 "Sulong, Lusong!" campaign by National Commission for Culture and the Arts with its partners - Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission, PETA Theatre, Maynilad, among others. "Ilog Pasig, Laban" translated in English as "Fight, Pasig River", is a reminder to look at how far the collective efforts have come in reviving the river from its "biologically dead" state, and therefore, encourages everyone not to lose hope and just continue fighting for the river because together, we Filipinos can do more to achieve its full rehabilitation.
