My initial thoughts on this metal detecting beach scoop so far is very positive as I go through the unboxing and assembly of the scoop in this video for you. Specifically, CKG sent me the 9"x6" stainless steel beach scoop with hexagonal holes for sifting out sand while keeping the target inside the scoop. This particular beach scoop is great for traveling with because it has a small form factor and the carbon fiber shaft breaks down in to 2 pieces which can be packed away in an average suitcase. This package makes for the perfect travel size beach scoop for metal detecting or even rock and shell collecting!
