Many lives were lost in the war, much knowledge destroyed. The world is left in darkness and there seems to be no higher power to guide it anymore. Almost half a century later, nature has reclaimed her territory with a fury. The cursed wastelands of the past war are still too dangerous to inhabit. The people of Agoria however have settled in a new way of life. No gods, no divine magic. Even if much of the arcane mysteries are lost, it is also a time of peace and reconciliation and not everyone wishes back the old ways In recent years, the mortal races are rediscovering their potential. Hungry for the immense arcane power that lies hidden away in the world, they set out to restore their former glory.
