Vol 4 - "Father's Day" I've always wanted to include my father on a project, but I never had the right song for him. Finally for this album, I'd written a song that lent itself perfectly to a reprise - doo wop style, of course - which fit my father's deep baritone perfectly! So Big Sy aka Sy O. Smith flew to LA for his first big time recording session (well...I'm not exactly "big time", but still...). My friends Charlean Carmon and Pattie Howard rounded out our street-corner harmony quartet something lovely! This clip recounts the day... enjoy!
