It was a magical day in the Hospital as we celebrated the launch of our Gold Appeal with a special 'Gold Day' for patients, families and staff. As well as raising funds, Gold Appeal is all about creating special moments for patients and their families, so we made sure Gold Day was all about them! From face painting to abseiling superheroes, special guests and brand-new boots (thanks to our event sponsor EMU Australia) it was the perfect day to launch Gold Appeal. Running throughout May and June, Gold Appeal is the major annual fundraising campaign for Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick. Supporters across NSW hold fundraisers or attend one of our official Gold events, leading up to an all-day Gold Telethon broadcast on Channel 9 on Monday 11 June. This year we're also hitting the road for the first time. From Port Macquarie to Canberra, our team will be making pit stops across NSW in our very own Gold Appeal Mobile!
