If you do not like the GoPro editor video skip to 2:34. Last year I picked up a 4x8x12 solid cement block with the snowblower it went through the auger and made it into the impeller. The hydraulic motor that rotates the impeller drum took the brunt of the impact and it snapped the shaft off. It was the end of the season when it happened so I just parked the blower. Every spring I like to use the blower to get rid of all the banks in my yard so there is less snow melt runoff so it was time to fix the motor. The new motor cost $580 and was a pain to install due to the fact that two bolts were behind the drum then I serviced the rest of the blower, 13 grease fittings, 2 gear boxes to check oil levels and 2 roller chains to lubricate. All in all it took around two hours to get the blower ready for use. All comments are held for approval rude and uncalled for comments will be removed and trolls will be blocked and removed.
