This week I’ll be interviewing Jesse. Jesse, more commonly known as his internet personality JesserTheLazer, rose to popularity quickly back in the summer of 2014 through various skits and entertainment videos including his NBA 2K14 In Real Life series starring Jesse and his friends reenacting the ridiculous and comical gameplay and cutscenes of that year’s game. Between NBA 2K videos, various other video games, as well as real life basketball content, Jesse’s channel has erupted to 1.4 million subscribers and over 350 Million views as well as his own brand Bucketsquad in partnership with Ballislife. Amidst this success, Jesse moved into the 2Hype house joined by YouTubers and Streamers LSK, TDpresents, ZackTTG, LosPollosTV, and Mopi. Jesse has collaborated with the Los Angeles Clippers, NBA 2K, The Kings Guard esports team, and countless well known and successful YouTube personalities. At 18 years old, Jesser has taken YouTube as well as social media as a whole by storm. Jesse’s rise has been dramatic and doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
