Members of the Philippine Army Light Reaction Regiment, Force Recon Group, and marines with the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion, Marine Special Operations Command and another group of special forces, U.S. Army Green Berets with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the Australian Defence Force 2nd Command Regiment conduct military free-fall training during Balikatan 23 at Fort Magsaysay. The US Marine Special Forces recently conducted a military free-fall parachute trail, which involved jumping from a high altitude and free-falling before opening their parachutes. This training exercise is designed to help the Special Forces hone their parachuting skills and build their confidence in high-altitude jumps. During the trail, the Special Forces used specialized equipment and techniques to ensure their safety and accuracy during the jump.
