When you dont clean and maintain your piece, over time this can lead to a permanent buildup of residue or even breakage due to carelessness. Taking proper care of your piece is key to maintaining quality and longevity. By far the most important aspect of bong care is the cleaning process. Keeping your bong clean not only maintains its appearance but also prevents dangerous hazards and potential illnesses. I recommend Cleaning Your Bong At Least Once A Week To Keep Your Piece Looking Spotless And Your Smoke Sessions As Enjoyable As Possible. Fortunately, cleaning your bong is fast and easy - just Follow the steps I’m about to share with you and you’ll be amazed at how great your bong looks in a few short minutes! Step 1: Dump out any dirty bong water, and rinse with warm water before emptying again. Step 2: Pour in your cleaning solution. Many people recommend using isopropyl alcohol since it’s so cheap and accessible, but there’s a variety of options available for those looking for environmentally friendly or non-toxic options. Consider buying a solution specifically designed to remove bong resin, I use one from Mile High. Step 3: Cover the openings in your bong and shake it vigorously. You can use your hands or paper towels to cover the holes, or you can buy cleaning caps designed specifically for bongs. Make sure to shake it until all the resin has been removed from the glass. If there’s a lot of resin buildup, let the solution soak for a bit before shaking - that usually helps. Step 4: If there’s still a couple of stubborn spots you can’t shake off, scrubbing your piece with a pipe brush or bong scrubber should do the trick. Step 5: Dump out your solution and rinse thoroughly with warm water. If you use isopropyl alcohol, make sure you rinse until you can no longer smell the alcohol on your piece. Step 6: Finish by allowing your piece to dry completely before its next use. Always make sure your bong has cooled down before adding cold water, as adding cold water to warm glass may cause shattering. Fill your clean bong with filtered water, and enjoy!
