I had thoughts of using both these songs with 'Tear Drop' upon its release and tried to do a mashup with my own twist with these songs and some others! So, I'm back sooner than expected with a new mash-up! SF9's 'Tear Drop' has to be one of my favorite releases this month (even maybe this whole year!) I really didn't expect this sound from them! It gives me a 2nd gen dramatic melody but with a modern touch to it (with SF9's more vogue-ish signature sound). I really enjoyed this comeback so I wanted to do a mash-up with it! So, the first thing that popped into my mind was the 'Mirror' part right at the beginning. I just had that playing in my mind on and on. Also, when thinking about more songs I've thought of my 'Save Me, Save You X Obliviate' MASHUP that I've started last year, but later scrapped. But I was pretty hesitant going forward with this idea cuz of two main issues: The key gap between the songs is quite huge and I'm mostly only using older and/or underrated songs. After some thoughts and work, I think the pitching was not as bad as I thought it would be and I told myself that I shouldn't worry about views and stuff and just do what I wanna do. So, after a fun but tedious process, I've finally finished this mashup! So, I've made this mash-up in a different way from usual where I wanted to separate the male parts in the first verse and the female parts in the second verse to create a story where the counterparts are heartbroken from each other and end up breaking up. But, I added a little twist where the girl search comfort from the 'Black Tinkerbell' (yeah idk I'm just pulling some strings here lol). Anyway, I've tried to do the same in the video though it was kinda hard to really blend all these MVs together. But, I had fun trying to mimic the effects and aesthetic from the 'Tear Drop' MV ;) Anyway, I really hope you'll enjoy this mashup! Idk if I'm making a new one soon, but a lot of cbs are coming this August so...
