VICTON made a comeback recently with 'Stupid O'Clock'! Wasn't really my favorite title from them, but I still enjoyed it! Really like the funkiness of the bass line and the vocal melodies were nice! Definitely a grower for me! Also happy that VICTON got to break their record for their 1st week album sales too! Anyway, while thinking about what mash-up to do with 'Stupid O'Clock', my mind settled on Monsta X's 'DRAMARAMA' & LOONA's 'Not Friends' (yeah I know, using that song again lol). Ngl, I mostly thought about these songs first cuz I thought the MVs would match (the time travelling from 'DRAMARAMA' and the action scenes from 'Not Friends'). I enjoyed how all those songs worked together and tried to spice things up a bit with some other songs that I was thinking that could fit the vibe of the mash-up or that could add something interesting. I had fun working on the structure of this mix especially the build-up before the chorus! For the video, I had a simple premise in mind. "Just gays committing a heist and travelling through time". Honestly, there's really nothing more to it (well except maybe trying to go through time to make the heist not go sourly I guess), but if you wanna come up with theories, I'm totally open to hear about them lmao. Also, despite the videos sharing similar themes, it was a bit hard to put everything together as I didn't have necessarily the right footage to convey what I wanted lol. But, I still had fun trying to imitate some spy/heist movie style of editing and trying to do a full storyline since the MV for 'Stupid O'Clock' really has a movie-like editing. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this mashup!
