Now, I present to you guys the lyrics video for the mash-up! I worked really hard on the lyrics so I really wanted to do this video to show my efforts to you guys! So, as I explained in my previous video, this mash-up's chapters and lyrics are really based on my experience of 2019. This year had a lot of ups and downs for me and I really wanted to express those feelings with this mash-up. Also, I notice that many songs do that talk more about self-love which theme I thought was really fitting with what I experienced this year and why the mash-up is called "I ♥ MYSELF". Obviously, to ease my task, I had to put the story a bit like a love story since "love" is what a big majority of those songs talk about. So, here below, I'm putting the chapter timestamps and their explanations, hoping that you guys can understand the mash-up more! :D Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this project and have a good year! CHAPTERS TIMESTAMPS & EXPLANATIONS: 1. Let's Kill This Love! (0:00): Beginning the year with strength and determination as I was working on my short student animated film for my college graduation project. It's more like a "Let's kill it, this year!" type of message. 2. Gonna Win This Fight! (1:51): At the end of my years of college, I kind of struggled to finish my project as you could notice how I uploaded less during this period. But, despite all the hardships, I tried fighting my way to finish my project. 3. It's My Birthday! (3:06): After graduating from college, my birthday came and it was a moment where I started more to think about myself. Also, it's around that moment I started to meet more people so I was still really happy. 4. It's OK To Not Be Fine (4:08): Even though I started doubting myself, the friends I met really helped me get better and just enjoy life as it is. Meeting and talking to them helped me smile and laugh more. 5. Fever (My Head Hurts...) (5:00): It's about the moment where I first started my job at a studio. It was a tough yet learning experience, but it's really during this period that I really started getting confused about what I wanted to do in life and doubting myself. 6. Holding This Pain... (7:12): At the end of my job period, I started my first year at university which made me feel lost even more. I think it was my darkest period of the year as I was really struggling with my doubts and feels of loneliness. 7. Find My Self (9:00): In all honesty, I'm still searching myself, but I'm slowly doing more and more to really find what I really want to do and what I want to be. 8. I'm A Twit, You're A Twit (11:19): I realize that I'm still young and that I still have room to enjoy life and same things go for my friends who I can enjoy time with. 9. I Love Myself (12:36): I am still working on loving myself, but I try to be less negative about myself and I really should try to be a bit more positive. 10. Beautiful ME (Because You Make Me Feel Special) (13:59): Having friends with me and supporting me really helps me see that I do have skills even though I still doubt myself. They really make me feel special (As long as you guys). 11. Always Remember... We Gon' Always Fly Like A Butterfly (16:25): A bit a follow-up of the last chapter, but it is mostly about friends helping each other in tough situations so they can fly together. Also, the first part is mostly to pay a tribute to the beautiful people we lost this year. 12. I Wanna Be Myself (17:26): This chapter is more about the future and what I want to be. I want to be able to be myself by becoming better myself.
