So, I've been mostly busy with adult life these past few months and wasn't really motivated to work on mashups. However, this is a project that I was really determined to finish! As you can notice in this mix, the song choices are pretty much "older" as this was a project that I started back in 2019. At that time, I was really into chill/R&B autumnal/winterish songs (still am lol) and wanted to do a mash-up with them. Then, I just started adding songs here and there. Sadly, I got occupied with the 2019's year end mashup and kinda forgot about this project. It was unfortunate cuz I loved some parts especially the 'Spring Day' part at the end. Then like 3 years later, I just thought about this project again and got inspired to work on it especially since I really wanted to do a MV for this one! So, with new tools and an updated list of songs (tho not too many new songs ngl lol), I worked on this project this summer and finished it in September! I am quite happy with the result and experimentations I made with the stems! There were a lot more songs that I wanted to put, but couldn't either because of space reason, too much key/bpm gaps or the lyrics didn't totally fit with the mix. Also, you can notice there's some non-K-pop songs here! I wanted to add more but couldn't.. But I hope you like these inclusions! For the MV, there was so many ideas that I wanted to try that maybe was too ambitious for my laptop/Sony Vegas cuz editing was hell and don't make me start on the rendering! But, I think this video is one of the best I edited (even if the rendering failed some of my effects :')). I think the atmosphere I wanted to create was well translated! I wanted to give this feel of a couple fighting through the seasons to get back with each other.
