It features 73 different instrumentals which is a bit less than some of my past mixes, but still a really big number of instrumentals haha! I hope you guys will enjoy listening to the instrumental of this mash-up more in details because I've put a lot of efforts in it! So, let me talk to you guys about it! I actually started testing some instrumentals together back in April. I just wanted to try some combinations and I think the first part I mostly finished was the one where I use "Valkyrie" as a base instrumental, there was also the part with "Piri". In fact, I think this instrumental had the most messy process out of all my other mega mash-ups XDD. Since I had little time for it because of school, I would always end up just working bits by bits and I would always not be satisfied. Also, fun fact, that day when I announced that I was done with the instrumental, I thought I was, but I ended up fixing things on and on. I think I truthfully ended it on the beginning of January. Anyway, I am quite satisfied with the results! I was trying to be a bit more experimental with the instrumentals cuz I'm just really interested in effects and playing around with sounds like how I played some instrumentals backwards ;)! I had a lot of fun on working on some transitions especially the one that goes from "Valkyrie" to "DALLA DALLA". This one was random, but I just really wanted to try something like this haha! Also, I enjoyed working with stems and teasers that were released since I could placed them in a way that was different form how they sound originally. So, in a way, I think this instrumental is the one I had the most fun to play with and I hope you enjoyed those combinations haha! For the selection of instrumentals, I just used beats that I really wanted to either if I actually liked the song or not. 2019 had some interesting sounds and I really wanted to show it! Also, I wanted the instrumentals to portray well the vibe of the chapters (even though the chapters weren't completely thought about at that time). I was looking for some hype instrumentals and some more slow songs to pace things better than last year's mix. And you might have noticed that I used a lot of underrated songs for the instrumental! I used more of them because I felt that beat would sound more fresh as I didn't want to use too many instrumentals that have been used before, but I did use some popular songs to balance things out. Anyway, I hope that this instrumental made you interested in the songs that you didn't know, because it was also one of my goals haha! Anyway, with the instrumental released, I am officially done with the 2019 K-POP MEGA MASH-UP and I can finally go work on the other mash-ups I let on standby... ^^' I might be on hiatus for the next two weeks tho because my midterms are coming, but I'm hoping to release more mash-ups later!
