Just some answers… Now, I must say… I haven’t talked to every man. There are definitely some who love the whole fake body part phenomenon. In my experience, I’ve generally run into the opposite. My bros all hate it. Full disclaimer: a lot of it comes up in our feeds, and we hit the button quick. But I’m taking life over any day, and some of the lengths that women (and men, for that matter) go to to make themselves more attractive to other people (or themselves) seems to be a bit much… Now, since I’ve asked this question, I’ve had a lot of conversations about “Body Dysmorphic Disorder,” so I wanted to do some research of my own. I’m not at the conclusion that this is that heavy. I understand it exists, but we have to admit to a level of just wanting to look good compared to the idea of what beauty is to people. Even that idea is relative because beauty takes on different forms depending on where you travel and who you speak to. Thoughts? Let’s have a conversation in the comments.
