TR4man's video: Doddington Park House Estate

@Doddington Park House & Estate
Doddington Park is 5km south of Nantwich in Cheshire. The Hall was rebuilt between 1777 and the 1790s to designs by Samuel Wyatt. At the same time the grounds were improved, probably to a design by Lancelot Brown. Estate building continued during the 19th century, but changes to the Hall were very few. During the Second World War it was utilised as a transit camp for Polish refugees. After the War the Hall was used for many years as a girls' school. By the late 1980s the school had left and since 1997 it has stood empty. A castle dating from the 13th century lies to the north of the current hall.
